Again, more apologies for not many write ups, we have several lined up to get on the blog, but we though we should share this one first.
Not much talking, I think the pics speak for themselves!

After

The car arrived with us on a Wednesday afternoon and was due for collection on the Saturday afternoon and we knew we would have our work cut out from the start!
![]()
Swirls poking out through the dust.
![]()
Some local wildlife.
![]()
Bird dropping marks – this would prove difficult to remove later on because of the location on the sunroof!
![]()
Some areas of repair where we had to be extra careful – Paintwork should be thoroughly checked before correction!
![]()
Another nasty bird bomb to deal with.
![]()
Wheels suffering from btake dust marks and general road grime.
![]()
Some scuffs to deal with;
![]()
Areas often missed when washing

![]()
On to the wash stage – getting in all the hard to reach and often overlooked areas

On to the wheels, acid free wheel cleaner and a selection or brushes to bring them back to life.
![]()
Wheels all clean, water after one wheel isn’t! Fresh needed after every wheel!
![]()
All washed and dried, now to inspect the defects! EEEEK!
![]()
![]()
Time for some compounding; Menzerna Powergloss required to remove the swirls
![]()
…and a second hit required to remove most of the remaining random deep scratches
![]()
![]()
Much better – still some refining required to remove the marring from the compounding
![]()
So out with the cleanser and a polishing pad to remove the holograms and any marring.
![]()
And now for the little touches – Exhausts polished
![]()
Still left with some dust from the polishing though!
![]()
![]()
![]()
Time to get it rolled outside, rinsed down and engine bay attended to.
![]()
Much better – car now rinsed, bonnet, boot and door shuts primed and optisealed…
![]()
While that is curing time to attend to the interior
![]()
Leather cleaned and fed and carpets hoovered – much nicer place to be
![]()
Just enough time to get a premium show winning wax on and get some pictures taken
![]()
late afternoon reflections
![]()
the sun – the real judge of three days of polishing!

Remember before? Scroll back up to compare how it looked when it arrived!

Overall a very challenging but very rewarding four days!
